Here is a quick outline of this weekends camping trip:

Friday, June 17 to Sunday, June 19

Ross Lake - Hozomeen Campground (US North Cascades National Park)
South end of Skagit Valley Road (access from Hwy #1 near Hope, BC), Hope, BC

Here is map link: https://www.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&q=48...

Though the camp site is in WA, you access it from Canada. Easiest for most US folks to cross at the Sumas border crossing, then head to Hope, and then on to Ross Lake. The campground is a little over 2 hours from the Sumas border crossing.

Come out and enjoy the beauty of the Skagit Valley south of Hope at Hozomeen Campground. Google it. Just a hair over the border on the USA side. NO border crossing, NO Government agents. No cost. Come and celebrate the Solstice.

This is one of the best campouts of the year... don't miss it!

As is the norm, there will be a Saturday night Pot Luck dinner.

Bring your better half, your kids, your animals and let's have a great time together in the wilds of BC (Washington). Bring a boat, bring a bike, bring a walking stick... there is lots to do at this camp site.

This campout is rated as one of the best if not the best ever so plan ahead. First come first served as there are no reservations at this site.

Campfires are OK so bring wood so we can all enjoy a roaring fire.

Dogs are welcome, but the dogs MUST be leashed at all times, even the small cute ones.... No exceptions.

One more thing... the details say no government agent, no border crossing... We suggest you have your passport with you on the off chance Homeland Security pays a visit... never happened to anyone we know but the ranger said it could happen one day
