Solstice Weekend Camping at the North end of Ross Lake 2019
June 21 – June 23, 2019
Come out and enjoy the beauty of Ross lake at the Hozomeen Campground. You will need to Google it for directions. It is accessed from the Canadian side but is actually located in the States. This is a FREE campsite with central water but no power or cell service. Come and celebrate the Solstice.
This is one of the best campouts of the year... don't miss it!
As is the norm, there will be a Saturday night Pot Luck dinner.
Bring your better half, your kids, your animals and let's have a great time together in the wilds. Bring a boat, bring a bike, bring a walking stick... there is lots to do at this camp site. We will be camped at the Winnebago flats campsite loop.
There is also a BC Park a couple hundred meters North from this camp site (Skagit Valley Provincial Park) should we have to change the location. This site usually opens late May so we should be good to go.
This campout is rated as one of the best if not the best ever so plan ahead. First come first served as there are no reservations or fees at this site.
Dogs are welcome, but the dogs MUST be leashed at all times, even the small cute ones.... No exceptions.
Even though there is no customs to cross the boarder at the park it is suggested that you have your passport with you on the off chance Homeland Security pays a visit... never happened to anyone we know but the ranger said it could happen one day...
